Welcome to Trewoofe Orchard - Lamorna, nr Penzance

Barbara and Dick look forward to share their lovely 4-bed-roomed house and gardens with those seeking peace and tranquillity for a few days.

The house was built in 1912 in the ‘Lamorna’ style for philosopher Alfred Sidgwick and his authoress wife Cecily, and was reputedly a popular partying venue for the fun-loving and free-spirited members of the Lamorna School of Artists in the early 20th century.

The Garden - "Nature and Nurture in Perfect Harmony"

The Lamorna stream tumbles down through the garden; an ancient mill leat runs above the house; rills from this feed a small, deep pond; water everywhere to delight the senses. A magical, secluded 4 acres.

Two acres of natural bluebell wood; two acres of more formal planting . Superb camellias, spring bulbs, hostas, arums, agapanthus, new tree ferns
