Attached to Boscean Country House, but with its own entrance, The Summer House is ideal for the larger group or family. Comprising of a ground floor twin room and a double upstairs, both having been tastefully refurbished with a light and airy feel - The double has a bath and the twin a shower. Each has its own tea and fresh coffee selection, DVD TV's and private patio seating area. Ideal for the family with the children having their own room, but within the same secure area downstairs. | ||||

| History of Boscean House |
| Boscean was built in 1912 as the residence of Dr Robert Garven Nesbitt at a cost of just over £2,600! Some of the "older" locals still refer to it as "The Doctors House". Dr Nesbit married into a wealthy local family - the Harvey-James's who owned Botallack Mine from 1835 - 1895. He died in 1923 and is buried in the town graveyard. There's a stained glass window dedicated to him in St Just Parish Church. Much of the wood in the hotel was removed from HMS Camperdown when the vessel was broken up in Swansea in 1911. We are led to believe that the wooden canopy over the fireplace in the hall was from above the Captains bed - it even has a secret panel. |

| Breakfast A choice from Continental to a full English breakfast is normally served in the Dining room from 8.30 - 9.30am - an earlier light breakfast can be arranged with prior notice should you be departing earlier. Our ingredients are sourced from specialist local producers and where possible are organic or free range. Whatever your preference, you can be assured, you will be given the very freshest of local produce with a friendly service. |
