<span class="maintext">White Ocean is one of 4 holiday apartments, in a
quiet location away from any main roads. It is on the ground floor and is
comfortably furnished to sleep up to 4 people (1 double, 1 twin). Facing
south west across the beautiful wide sandy bay of Mawgan Porth it has a
lovely uninterrupted sea view and is only a short pathway walk to the beach
- so no need to get in the car (and trying to park it!) for a day on the
clean sands. The award winning beach is ideal for surfing, rock pooling,
bathing and exploring the caves or building dams by the waterfall. Trained
Lifeguards are on duty from May to September.</span> </td>

several miles are protected by the National Trust, including the magnificent
scenery of Bedruthan Steps just 10 minutes walk away. Many other fine beaches
and coves are within (hearty) walking or short driving distance.<br>

<span class="subheads">L</span></span><span class="subheads">ocal Facilities</span><br>
Mawgan Porth is not in the least bit commercialised. It has 2 shops, 2 cafes,
a garage, a pub and a beach car park (set back out of site of the beach).
There is pitch and putt and tennis courts nearby. Within a 10 minute walk
is an 18 hole golf course and some riding stables. Local sea and river fishing
is popular as are boat and sailboard hire at Rock, near Padstow. There are
fine Country Houses, Gardens, Cinemas, Theatres, Family Adventure Parks
and some first class Restaurants all within 30 minutes drive, or less.<br>
<br>
Padstow is a charming harbour town 7 miles to the north and Newquay, a busier
seaside resort is 7 miles south along a spectacular coast road, and is very
popular with teenagers. Mainline rail, supermarkets and shops are found
here. Lastly, daily flights between Heathrow, Birmingham, Aberdeen etc.
come in to St. Mawgan (Newquay) airport for those in a real hurry</span></td>
