Costislost Farm is a historic and peaceful manor house situated in spacious grounds within a woodland setting 3 miles from the Cornish town of Wadebridge and 7 miles from a range of beautiful white sandy beaches suitable for sailing, swimming and surfing. It is tucked away from the main road and approached by a private driveway lined with rhodedendrons, offering the discerning guest the pleasures of peace and seclusion amidst hills, fields and woods.

A bridleway links the property to the Camel Trail which follows the Estuary all the way to Padstow on the coast – perfect for walking, mountain biking or hiring cycles. There are also local stables for horse riding, and a host of nearby picturesque village pubs and quality restaurants for those who would rather take things a little easier!

The farm produces wholesome beef for local markets, whilst small by modern standards animals are cared for and well treated. Guests are welcome to enjoy seasonal activities such as calving in the spring and harvesting in the summer if they so wish. Enhancement of the property is always at the forefront of our minds and we have recently restored a neglected Victorian wildlife pond, which includes a pump house and buttery in a beautiful wooded and secluded setting at the edge of the lawn. The property has also been recently redecorated throughout.

A spacious self catering apartment in the upper floor of the Victorian Manor House with it’s own separate entrance through the walled kitchen gardens. Accommodation consists of:-

• Large comfortably furnished south facing living room with wood burning stove and stripped wooden floor, colour TV and video.
• Four huge bedrooms, all furnished with period furniture; one king size four poster en-suite room, one huge double room with stunning views over the gardens and parkland, two huge bedrooms containing twin and triple single beds. All have pleasant views.
• Huge kitchen/diner with large farmhouse dining table and chairs. Fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher and full size deluxe range cooker.
• One large bathroom plus one en-suite, the large having a shower and bath, shaving point, washbasin and original Victorian WC, and the en-suite with beautiful polished wooden floor and luxurious deep Victorian roll top bath, washbasin and WC.
• Cot, highchair and baby bath available on request.
• Secure outside storage for bikes, surfboards, beach accessories and golf clubs etc.
• Linen included, towels not provided.
