The Thorncliff Apartments
Situated in the quiet, uncommercialized hamlet of Mawgan Porth, The Thorncliff Apartments, nestled high into the cliffs of Cornwall's rugged and spectacular landscape, boasts what are arguably the finest, uninterrupted ocean views in the county. Mawgan Porth itself is a small village located on the coast road, midway between Newquay and Padstow. A fine sandy beach is just a short stroll away, as is the main North Cornwall coastal path along which can be found for example Watergate Bay to the south and to the north, the stunning National Trust's "Bedruthan Steps", both of which are about a 30 minute walk away, along one of the best loved stretches of coastal path in the country.

The Penthouse Apartment
The apartment has 3 bedrooms - 2 spacious ones with king-size beds (one of which has en-suite), and a twin, and therefore can comfortably accommodate 6 adults. This apartment is not suitable for children under 12 yrs. Please see ' The garden apartment'

There is a house bathroom, a fully equipped dining kitchen to include washing machine, fridge freezer, full sized double oven, microwave etc., and finally a spacious lounge which has 42" Lcd TV, DVD player, mini hi-fi and patio doors which lead out onto a spacious roof terrace. The terrace has a dining table and chairs, panoramic ocean views and total privacy. The terrace is perfect for 'al fresco' dining, sunbathing or simply relaxing whilst watching the tide ebb and flow.

All apartments come with full gas central heating throughout and are equally appealing in winter as in the summer.

The Garden Apartment
This apartment is ideal for families with young children. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 1 twin all with en-suite shower rooms and 4th smaller bedroom with double sofa bed, thus it can accommodate 2 families. The lounge, with large screen lcd tv & dvd player, has patio doors onto a fabulous 60 sq.m entertaining deck with ample rattan furniture and outside dining table & chairs - perfect - for a bbq, all overlooking the sea. There is also a lawned area, perfect for the odd game of badminton!
It has fully fitted and equipped kitchen and benefits from having a separate dining room with patio door which also opens onto the deck.
Adjacent to the garden is our children's play area which guests are welcome to use, with climbing frame, swings, slide etc and 14 ft trampoline, ideal for tiring out active little ones!

The Deluxe Apartment
Located on the first floor, this 1 bedroom apartment sleeps 2. Comprising spacious bedroom with antique half-tester kingsize bed, en-suite bathroom & sea-view. The lounge also has a wonderful seaview with French doors leading out on to a private balcony. Fully fitted kitchen / diner. This spacious apartment also links very well with the Penthouse for larger parties.

Please note all apartments are non-smoking
- Prices are per week and include all gas, electricity etc.
- Duvets and pillows are supplied but linen is not included as we find many guests prefer to bring their own, however linen hire is available at a cost of £10 per person per week. This includes duvet covers, fitted sheets, pillowcases, hand and bath towels, but does not include towels for beach use.
- A deposit of £50.00 per week booked is required with the balance being due 6 weeks prior to the date of commencement – reminders for outstanding balances are not given and non-payment could therefore be treated as a cancellation.
- All payments should be made by cheque to Mr. G. J. Bodsworth, or payable by debit card over the telephone.
- Deposits are non-refundable. Holiday insurance is recommended to cover any losses. Should cancellation occur with the 6 week period prior to commencement, we will only refund balance payments if the property can be re-let.
- Only those persons listed on the booking form are permitted to stay in the property.
- We accept no liability for the loss or damage to personal property, nor injury or loss of life to any member of the party arising out of or in connection with the holiday.
- The apartments are available from 2pm and must be vacated by 10am. The property must be left clean and tidy and in a similar condition to that which it was taken on. Whilst we do not take a damages deposit, please note that all damage and breakage’s must be paid for.
