| Welcome to Helena Tregenza |
| Description |
| If you are looking for excellent
accommodation where your comfort and enjoyment is
of the most importance, in a pretty, unspoilt seaside
village, then Portreath is for you. |
| The apartment is named after
a boat built on the slipway by local boat builder
Thomas Massey. The surrounding area is pedestrianised
and there is a choice of parking within a few yards |
 |
| Accommodation |
| The apartment has sea views
and is ideally situated just a few yards from the
'Little Beach' and the Main Beach is just 50yards
away. It has an entrance porch, two bedrooms and
a newly fitted shower room. There is an open plan
living area with a newly fitted kitchen which includes
an automatic washing machine and microwave oven.
The kitchen is fully equipped for four people. |
| The property is furnished and
equipped to a very high standard. The apartment
is heated with electric storage heaters and space
heaters throughout because we believe that the comfort
of our guests is paramount. We aim to provide an
atmosphere which is 'home from home'. |
| The beds have non-allergic bed
linen which is provided and the beds are made up
on your arrival. If you book a two week holiday
extra bed linen will be supplied mid-stay. Towels
and tea towels will also be supplied but not swimming
towels. |
 |
| Surrounding Area |
| Portreath is one of four ports
on the rugged north coast of Cornwall. There is
a local shop in the village along with three pubs,
all providing excellent food. The village bakery
supplies hot pasties and fresh bread and there is
a beachside café, a restaurant and surf shops selling
all the holiday-maker needs for a really outstanding
break. |
| The pretty harbour is the home
for many fishing boats where fresh fish can often
be bought on the quay. |
 |
| Location |
| PORTREATH is situated three
miles from the A30. |
| Amenities in the village are
excellent and within a short level walk. |
| There are many places to eat
out suiting all pockets and tastes either in the
village or within a short drive. |
| The famous 700 mile South West
Way Coastal Footpath goes right through the village
and many walkers and hikers can be seen walking
the pathway to Perranporth to the north and St.
Ives to the west. The pathway starts at Minehead
in Somerset and finishes at Swanage in Dorset. |
| The views are outstanding and
in Spring and Summer the wild flowers are a delight.
|
| Illogan Woods and Tehidy Country
Park are nearby for those who prefer country walks
and activities. There is an eighteen hole Golf Course
at Tehidy which is about two miles away. |
