We bought our Barnoon flat in 1998, having fallen in love
with St Ives and the wonderful views from Barnoon Terrace. Then
in 2001 we rescued a dilapidated house 50 yards up the hill and
converted it into 5 lovely holiday flats. All six of our flats are
in a perfect location in St Ives,
5 minutes from everything. They are cheerful and comfortable, and
the views are amazing (the view from Flat 4 Seabirds is below).

Flat One, 7 Barnoon Terrace is on the
ground floor of a double fronted Victorian house. There's
a really lovely view to St Ives Bay and the harbour. The house
fronts onto a footpath and then there are gardens - not a
car in sight.

A spacious ground floor flat with wonderful
panoramic sea views of St Ives Bay, the harbour and Porthmeor

The big bay window gives truly magnificent
views from this first floor flat. Nowhere in St Ives has better
views than Godrevy Terrace! You can see right round from the
north Cornwall coast to the harbour, "The Island"
and the Porthmeor surf beach.

Flat 3's large double aspect sitting room
has a perfectly framed view of the harbour and the lighthouse.
At the other end, a large bay window faces west and floods
the room with evening light.

Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms - double and twin
Flat 4, which takes up the whole top floor,
is superb. The flat is characterful and spacious and the sitting
room has wide sliding glass doors to the balcony and possibly
(probably!) the best views in St Ives. Even window cleaners
are amazed by it.

Also known as The Cottage, Flat 5 is a
single story addition at the back of Seabirds House. It has
no sea view but like the other flats its position is ideal,
close to beaches, harbour and shops.

Seabirds House and Barnoon are less than 5 minutes from beaches,
harbour and shops. It may take you a bit longer to get back home,
as the hill is steep! The height is what makes the views so spectacular
and it also means that both places are very quiet, unlike the busy
harbour front.

The open window is the sitting room of our Barnoon
flat. A gentle stroll down Barnoon Terrace brings you to Academy
Steps, which lead into Fore Street, the heart of old St Ives, and
the harbour.

This is Seabirds House. You can see Flat 4's
balcony on the top floor. 3 or 4 minutes walk from here brings you
to Porthmeor Beach, or to Fore Street and the harbour.

back up to Seabirds.

This flat is on the first floor of Seabirds House at the front
of the building and the views from it are spectacular.
You can see round from Porthmeor surf beach, to "The
Island", St Ives harbour and right down the north Cornwall

The wall bed pulls down from a specially designed unit and is
simply pushed away during the day with the bedding in place
Good clothes storage space in the wall unit

This superb flat occupies the whole top (second) floor of Seabirds
House. The large, characterful sitting room has full height sliding
glass doors with access to the balcony and absolutely exceptional
views - it really does take your breath away.
The main bedroom is double aspect, with both a sea view and
a west facing window. The second bedroom has twin beds.

Flat 5 ...
This is our smallest flat, at the back of the main house with
its own separate entrance. It has no sea view so it's the most economical
option, but it's light, bright and comfortable and of course just
as well situated as the other flats.
It's an ideal base for one person or a couple, and lots of guests
return year after year.

50 yards away from Seabirds House, our Barnoon flat is on the

traffic-free terrace.
It's a cheerful bright and comfortable flat and the views across
gardens to the harbour and bay are spectacular.
