Apartment One, 10 Porthminster Terrace is on the ground floor of a newly converted Victorian house, it is light and airy, has two double bedrooms (sleeping 4), coastal views, private parking and a private courtyard (a rarity in St Ives).

Apartment One is located in the quiet Porthminster area, easily reached by road and from both the bus and train stations. The apartment is a short 5-minute walk to the town centre, harbour front and surrounding beaches - a perfect base for exploring by foot or car St Ives and the surrounding area.

Accommodation Details

The apartment offers:

Hallway leading to an open plan Lounge/Diner with a large bay window offering stunning views over the coastline.
Superbly fitted open plan kitchen with integral appliances.
Bedroom one with two single divan beds, dressing table and en-suite bathroom with shower over and heated towel rail.
Access to a private courtyard.

A separate corridor leads to:

Bedroom two with two single divan beds and large wardrobe.
Fully tiled shower room with heated towel rail.

Outside:

Private parking space next to the apartment.
Courtyard for sole use of the apartment guests, perfect for relaxing in the sun.

Availability and Booking

Booking Information

Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday with prices starting from £450 - £895 per week which include gas, electricity and bed linen. Hirers must provide their own towels. To book your holiday please check the calendar for availability, prices and dates, click on the required Saturday and you'll have something to look forward to!

Unfortunately we cannot accept bookings from groups of single persons under the age of 30 years, or all male or female parties in excess of two. The apartment is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

Hi Nicky,

Just to let you know what a great time we all had last week in St Ives. Lovely quiet apartment, very clean, comfortable and well equipped and despite the bitterly cold wind we were able to sit out on the terrace which is a real sun trap.

Only a short walk down to the town centre shops, galleries, restaurants and the beaches, meant we could walk everywhere - no need to use the car all week which was lovely and it was a real bonus to have the parking space provided.

A lovely relaxing break and hope we can visit again soon

Hi Nicky,

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed our short break in Cornwall, staying at your beautiful apartment. The weather was freezing but we were very comfortable indeed, with everything we could possibly need. It was wonderful not to have to use the car once we arrived, and to be able to stroll down the hill to the beach, restaurants, shops and galleries. So relaxing!

I wanted to thank you, and let you know I thought your apartment was very comfortable, and lovely and clean. Also, it was good to be somewhere quiet, away from the crowds in St Ives, but not too far from the town.

Although I came down by train, I can see the huge advantage of having a parking space alongside the apartment, and included in the rental.

I wanted to get in touch and say how much we enjoyed staying in your lovely apartment and what a great base it is. We had a really relaxing time despite mixed weather, and it was great to be able to make the short walk down to Porthminster beach as soon as the sun came out. We really liked St Ives and it brought back great memories of childhood holidays for me. My husband and daughters were smitten to and we are seriously considering re booking for next summer!

We had a fabulous two weeks staying at your apartment in St. Ive's, the property was clean, spacious and perfectly situated being within easy walking distance to all the beaches, shops and restaurants. The sun terrace was a great sun trap and we enjoyed sitting out there drinking champagne on my wife's birthday. The beaches were beautiful and on most afternoons / evenings we saw seals swimming in the harbour! I would happily recommend your apartment to anyone wishing to visit St. Ives, we would certainly use your apartment again should we wish to return next summer.

Great location just a 5 min walk to St.Ives where there's lots of fantastic restaurants, shops, beaches and walks!

Your apartment was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The sea view from the lounge window was a bonus. The apartment was perfectly located but still close to the town centre, harbour and beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday it was really nice staying in accommodation similar to home. 'Apartment One was fantastic, very spacious, ideal location and decoration to a very high standard, it was good to have an outside area & the car parking space is an added bonus in St Ives. We have a 3 year old & commented how child friendly it is. The two bathrooms with a bath & shower in one & large shower in the other was very handy to have especially for children. I would not hesitate to recommend Apartment One & would definitely book again if staying in St Ives.'

Hi Nicky,

Just a note to say thank you for everything. The Apartment was first class and everything we could have hoped for. I loved the spacious feel and the fact that we had 2 lovely bathrooms. We had an absolute blast and was great to be in St Ives again after 7 years. Weather wise, we had 2 days rain out the 7 which wasn't too bad at all. We tried some of the recommended restaurants which we loved. Also tried the vegetarian restaurant which was different but nice just the same.

As you know we loved the apartment. I felt that it was finished to an exceptionally high standard. I loved the bright and airy feel and the fact that there were two lovely bathrooms.

The location was great, very quiet but still only a short walk from the harbour and my favourite restaurant the Portminster.

Hi Nicky, we were going to email you this week.

The apartment is absolutely fantastic. We were amazed at how big it is inside and how well equiped. The decoration really made the place feel open and spaceous. (we have stayed in poorly decorated appartments before and they do not make you feel welcome at all) Whereas appartment one is very welcoming.

Having 2 ensuite bathrooms was a real bonus as it meant the boys didn't take over our bathroom time. (our eldest son was supposed to be staying with his cousins near Porthgwidded but after seeing our appartment spent more nights with us!)

The weather was unfortunately not quite good enough for us to use the outside area, but it is a rarity in St Ives to get any sort of private area so in more clement weather it would be very handy to have.

We were also pleasantly surprised that the walk into town and indeed to Porthgwidden beach was not as long as we had feared. (although the walk back is a tough one!)

Overall we had a great holiday and would definitely book to stay in Appartment One again.
